KUHOO VERMA

KUHOO VERMA is a multidisciplinary artist who has seamlessly transitioned across the worlds of film, music, and theatre.

 

Kuhoo will next be seen starring in the Amazon feature Space Cadet coming this July. She is best known as the breakout star of the Hulu original film Plan B. She recently starred in the Netflix feature Murder Mystery 2 and was seen in the Oscar-nominated film The Big Sick.

 

In the world of theatre, Kuhoo received critical acclaim for portraying the role of Velma in Dave Malloy’s a cappella chamber musical Octet at the Signature Theatre and later reprised the role at Berkeley Rep. For her performance, she won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical and the Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble.

 

A versatile musician and vocalist, Kuhoo recently sang the title role in the opera Les Larmes d’Eugénie, which was presented by Cartier at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival and at the Théatre du Châtelet in Paris. She has also graced several music venues all over New York City including Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, Little Island, and Joe’s Pub.
